OUR SCHOOL

Dromana Primary School has proudly served the communities of McCrae, Safety Beach and Dromana for over 150 years, since its establishment in 1861.

We provide students with a high-quality education in an orderly, supportive and stimulating learning environment. Our curriculum is grounded in the comprehensive Foundation to Year 6 sequential program outlined in the Victorian Curriculum, ensuring strong foundations and consistent learning progression across all year levels.

Learning at Dromana Primary School is enriched by an extensive specialist program including Physical Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Japanese and Coding and Robotics.

A unique highlight of our school is our Boat Shed, located on the Dromana Foreshore. Each year level accesses the Boat Shed at different times throughout the year to participate in engaging outdoor learning experiences that complement and enhance classroom learning.

Our School Zone

It is important to know that for families that reside outside the school zone, your child’s enrolment form should still be submitted and will be considered if there are spaces available.

Families residing in the school zone are still required to submit an enrolment form, which will guarantee your child a place at our school.
