Dromana Primary School has served the communities of McCrae, Safety Beach and Dromana for over 150 years since its establishment in 1861.
Our school provides our students with a high quality education in an orderly and stimulating learning environment. The curriculum is based on the comprehensive seven year sequential learning program contained in the Victorian Curriculum. The curriculum is enriched by an extensive specialist program including Physical Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Science and Aboriginal Studies, Japanese and Coding and Robotics. A highlight of our school is our Boat Shed, located on the Dromana Foreshore, used as a Science and Aboriginal Studies learning center in Term one and Term four and at other times throughout the year to complement our curriculum.
Our school challenges our students to be self-motivated, lifelong learners so that they can achieve their full potential.
